Amharc Éireann – Eagrán 54

A new era of flying begins in Ireland when a Douglas DC-8 carries 95 passengers from America to Shannon Airport, marking the start of a thrice-weekly service connecting Chicago and Detroit to Shannon, and onward to London, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf.

Thosaigh ré nua eitilte in Éirinn nuair a d’iompair Douglas DC-8 95 paisinéir ó Mheiriceá go hAerfort na Sionainne, ag marcáil tús le seirbhís trí huaire sa tseachtain a nascann Chicago agus Detroit le Sionainn, agus ar aghaidh go Londain, Frankfurt, agus Düsseldorf.
