Day One comically documents receptionist Jody’s eventful first day at her new job.
Writer Margaret Moggan conjures all the anxiety and nervous excitement of a young woman’s first day at her new job in a small property firm. In her desperate attempt to impress her boss, Jody (Pauline Hutton) finds herself holding up a busy coffee queue, embarrassing herself in front of the telephone service provider and causing surly Siobhán to choke on her pie. However, the one thing she is equipped with is her undeniable charm and cheerful personality which endears her to all those she meets and sees her through whatever life throws at her.
